Lancing parish councillor Lee Cowen is standing as Labour's candidate in the Mash Barn by-election on October 5.
Labour has called this by-election to fill a vacancy caused by the previous councillor who has resigned from Adur District Council. This is a crucial time for residents of this area and it is important to have a councillor in place.
A consultation is underway on plans for alterations to the A27 and of course there are extensive plans for the development at New Monks Farm.
Both have a big impact on the area. It is important that all those affected are consulted fully and their views actively communicated to the council.
This cannot wait.
Lee Cowen, right, has the energy and the knowledge to fully represent the views of local residents on these vital issues during the upcoming months.
Lee is an active Parish Councillor and long term resident and he has an unstoppable drive to get things right for the people of Lancing.
Labour demands that local people should have their voice heard.
No to the existing estate being a through road for developers
Realistic and safe improvements to the A27
New homes for local people. No watering down of affordable housing promises.
Lee says: "Mash Barn needs a strong voice right now. They've walked all over us on post office closures. We can't let them do that again with the New Monks Farm development proposals."
