I moved to Southwick in 2010 and now live and work in Southwick Green. It's wonderful to truly be a part of the community that I am fighting to represent.
I have two young children who attend a local school and pre-school so I fully understand the demands on parents, particularly in this difficult time of austerity where both public services and local government funding have been heavily affected.
When I walk through Southwick Square I get a very strong feeling of community and I feel proud to be a part of that. I want to work with residents to resolve our local issues, not just gloss over real problems facing real people. Labour offers hope for the many – particularly young people – with fresh policies and ideas for housing and infrastructure.
I believe that we need more balance in our local government in order to fairly represent the whole of the community. I want to support people from all walks of life by listening to you and asking questions about how we as a party can best help you. For The Many Not The Few.
