Councillor Lee Cowen
Councillor for Mash Barn Ward, Worthing
Councillor Lee Cowen was elected to Mash Barn Ward in 2018. He is a video games programmer and father of 8 year old twins.
Lee joined Lancing Parish Council because he thought it would benefit from an injection of new ideas and intends to be a voice for people who have long been ignored. He is now Deputy Leader of the Labour Group and sits on the Planning Committee. He is vice chair of the Amenities Committee and Chair of the Monks Rec working group. He also runs the New Monks Farm Development Facebook page and is on the World of Widewater committee.
Lee joined the Labour Party to fight for fairness and social justice – the last 8 years of austerity has damaged the fabric of the country and the relentless privatisation and defunding of our public services will continue until we have a Labour government.
His surgeries are every 3rd Saturday of the month at Lancing village market
