Candidate for St. Nicolas ward, Adur District Council
Adrienne is an active member of the local community who has lived in Adur for over 35 years. She is well-known for the work she does at the Co-op Community Space in Ham Road and was instrumental in setting it up after local people made clear the need for such a facility.
She is a Trustee of Adur Voluntary Action and is working with them to re-invigorate this local charity. She has a wide knowledge and experience of local issues and previously chaired her local residents association.
In her professional life, Adrienne is a recently retired teacher who has taught science at two local schools. She has also held a range of leading roles with the Co-op including Regional Board Chair and Governor of the Co-op College.
Adrienne says, “I am keen to work with the growing number of Labour councillors to make a real change to the lives of the people of Shoreham by giving them more of a voice”
