Pauline Higgins says: “I will work tirelessly as your local Labour councillor to begin to address some of the many issues and concerns you have raised. Many of these issues are a direct result of neglect and lack of consideration and too many of you have felt not listened to or simply ignored. Having been a deputy head teacher specialising in the Early Years I know how vital good listening and action are for the lives and outcomes of children, families and the community.

“Now, as  a primary school governor, I see  what a difference air quality and safe streets make to the lives of children, their families and older adults. I want your voices to be heard with kindness, consideration and respect and then represented in a Labour council. Together we can begin to change neglect into action for Widewater.”
